Many expect Trump’s inauguration which takes place January 20, 2017 to be wild, but what if I told you that there could be a mass of 4,200 people in support of legalized marijuana all smoking a joint distributed by a local dispensary.  That’s right, a local cannabis dispensary named DC Cannabis Coalition says it will hand out 4,200 joints and encourages those who have been handed a joint to light up at 4 minutes and 20 seconds into Trump’s speech.

Marijuana smokers love the number 420 because of it’s significance to the number of chemicals found in Cannabis.  Though smokers still celebrate the number, the fact is there are only 315 chemicals found in Cannabis.

Why Pass Out 4,200 Joints at Trumps Inauguration?

So why are smokers gathering and lighting up at Trump’s inauguration?  The idea is to send a message to the federal government that it’s time to legalize marijuana use at the federal level.

Initiative 71 made it legal to posses up to 2 ounces of marijuana in DC.  So as long as the DC Cannabis club obeys this law and doesn’t smoke on federal property, I don’t see any legal ramifications from this initiative taken by marijuana advocates and the DC Cannabis club.
